Papendal training for PhD students

PhD training Nederlandse Hartstichting

PhD-training courses at Papendal (Arnhem)
"Cardiac Function and Adaptation", "Vascular Biology" and "Thrombosis and Haemostasis"

The three courses: "Cardiac Function and Adaptation", "Vascular Biology" and "Thrombosis and Hemostasis" are organized under auspices of the Netherlands Platform for Cardiovascular Research of the Netherlands Heart Foundation and with financial support from the Netherlands Heart Foundation with the participation of the following Dutch Cardiovascular Research Institutes: CARIM , COEUR , CRIA , CVC Groningen , ICaR-VU , LVM , UMCU , UMC St Radboud . The three courses are taught simultaneously, meaning that each student can participate in only one of the three courses.

To participate successfully in these courses a basic knowledge is required (entry level). To examine your current knowledge a test will be developed. This test is not obligatory but you can use the results to judge whether additional studies are needed before participating in these courses.

Although aiming primarily at PhD students from the participating institutes, the courses are also open for interested PhD-students from other institutes (countries) if places are available, albeit that the number of participants is limited due to the formula of the courses.
Information about these courses, the costs and registration can be found in the flyer on www.NHS.nl.
