Outcomes for selected patients with spinal metastases may be improved by dose escalation using stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). As target geometry is complex, we compared SBRT plans using volumetric modulated arc radiotherapy (RapidArc(R), RA) and conventional intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).
