Master Cardiovascular Research

Are you interested in Clinical Life Sciences and doing patient-oriented research? Are you interested in working in a multidisciplinary environment? Do you enjoy working with people who challenge each other to attain the best results? The Master Cardiovascular Research offers you a challenging two year programme.

The two-year international programme master Cardiovascular Research started in 2009 and aims to educate talented students who are willing to be educated as top scientists in Clinical Life Sciences.

Since September 2022, the programme consists of two tracks:

1) The track Imaging and Personalized Medicine at the VU is focussing on different aspects of clinical research, imaging and personalized medicine necessary to set up and carry out scientific research. In addition to knowledge about different research methods and the use of measuring instruments, the most important statistical techniques needed for data analysis and biobusiness are discussed. 2) The track Cardiovascular Sciences at the UvA focuses on the fundamental biological and biophysical aspects of cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology, and the various analytical techniques used in research.
